Alchemy Connect is a student-oriented freelance task manager that allows corporations to post and manage tasks through their Workday HCM. Connect will allow companies to set up one vendor through which they may have several student freelance workers working on various tasks. By allowing students to maintain connections with employers through freelance tasks, employers can find and maintain upcoming talent while students gain experience with a flexible schedule.

The goal of this project is to create an online system that will allow companies to contract out students to complete projects without the overhead of actually creating independent contractor agreements. The companies that will provide projects on this platform will simply hire Alchemy as a vendor and therefore be able to hire multiple students with ease. Through Alchemy Connect, students can gain valuable real-world experience without the commitment of a long-term internship, which students often do not have time for, due to their already strenuous workload.
